Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and effective Singapore Math lessons to students of varying age groups and skill levels.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans in alignment with the Singapore Math curriculum and methodologies.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in mathematics.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and continuously improve teaching strategies.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest educational trends.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral observations.
- Communicate proactively with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in Singapore Math or a similar problem-based learning approach.
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to explain them clearly and creatively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Passion for teaching and a genuine desire to make a difference in students' academic journeys.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and adaptive teaching strategies for diverse learners.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and commit to a full-time teaching role.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
