Responsibility
- Assist lead teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students' needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students, reinforcing concepts and addressing learning gaps.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and educators.
- Help create and organize educational materials, including worksheets, quizzes, and interactive activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as grading assignments, tracking attendance, and maintaining student records.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with a JC or A-Level certification (or equivalent).
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.
- Basic knowledge of subject matter relevant to the tuition centre’s curriculum (e.g., Mathematics, Science, English).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Prior experience in tutoring, mentoring, or working with children is a plus but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
