job description
Are you a passionate, native or near-native English speaker looking for a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Balinese culture while making a meaningful impact? Parker Culture Media Co., Ltd. is seeking a warm, engaging, and responsible English Tutor (Homestay) to join our bilingual family in the heart of Baliâone of the worldâs most vibrant and culturally rich destinations.
This is more than just a tutoring role; itâs a chance to live in a supportive, family-oriented environment while helping our children (or adult learners) develop fluency, confidence, and a love for the English language. As a live-in tutor, youâll become part of our daily life, sharing meals, traditions, and experiences while providing structured, engaging, and personalized language instruction. Whether youâre correcting pronunciation, leading conversational practice, or creating fun, interactive lessons, your role will be pivotal in shaping our learnersâ linguistic journey.
Bali offers the perfect backdrop for this experienceâfrom the lush rice terraces of Ubud to the pristine beaches of Canggu and the cultural hubs of Denpasar and Kuta. Youâll enjoy a balanced lifestyle, with time to explore the islandâs natural beauty, vibrant arts scene, and warm local communities. This role is ideal for educators, digital nomads, or language enthusiasts seeking a flexible, part-time opportunity with a competitive salary and the chance to grow both personally and professionally.
If youâre a patient, creative, and culturally sensitive individual with a knack for teaching, weâd love to welcome you into our home. Join us in creating a nurturing, bilingual environment where learning feels like an adventure!

- Monitor and track progress through regular assessments, feedback sessions, and goal-setting with learners and parents.
- Participate in family activities (e.g., meals, outings, cultural events) to immerse learners in an English-speaking environment.
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians to align on learning objectives and address any challenges.
