Responsibility
- Prepare and serve premium shisha blends with precision, ensuring consistent quality and flavor profiles.
- Customize shisha mixtures based on customer preferences, including tobacco strength, flavor combinations, and coal management.
- Maintain and clean shisha equipment, including pipes, hoses, and bowls, to uphold hygiene and performance standards.
- Educate guests on shisha varieties, smoking techniques, and safety protocols to enhance their experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of tobacco, charcoal, and accessories, and coordinate restocking with management.
- Collaborate with the bar and service team to ensure seamless operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to health, safety, and local regulations regarding shisha preparation and service.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new flavors, and techniques to continuously improve offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Shisha Maker, Hookah Artist, or in a similar role within hospitality or nightlife.
- In-depth knowledge of shisha preparation, including tobacco types, flavor pairings, and heat management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with a diverse, international clientele.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and cost control.
- Familiarity with Bali’s nightlife and tourism industry is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Arabic) are advantageous.
