Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with department heads to forecast supply needs.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate existing ones for quality and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with resort policies, local regulations, and sustainability standards in all procurement activities.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules to maintain smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to track procurement budgets and optimize spending.
- Resolve any supply chain issues or delays proactively to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for cost and quality assessment.
