Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage shipping operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth shipping processes.
- Prepare and review export documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities, including costs, schedules, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members and contribute to team training and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and export documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and shipping management software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
