Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage all shipping activities, including domestic and international freight.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and export/import permits.
- Monitor shipment statuses and provide real-time updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce transit times and costs.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, including safety and hazardous materials handling.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and delivery performance for reporting and analysis.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or issues proactively to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Proficiency in shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with electronics or industrial components shipping is a plus.
