Responsibility
- Supervise daily shipping and logistics operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor shipment schedules, track deliveries, and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping documents, and customs clearance paperwork.
- Liaise with clients to provide updates on shipment statuses and address any concerns.
- Implement cost-saving measures and process improvements to enhance operational productivity.
- Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in shipping and logistics management.
- Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols in all logistics activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, incoterms, and international shipping procedures.
- Proficient in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor and client interactions.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership skills with experience in supervising teams.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) is a plus.
