Responsibility
- Operate and drive lorries safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper distribution and adherence to weight limits.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements for heavy vehicle operation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Singapore Class 4 Driving License (or equivalent Indonesian heavy vehicle license).
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving lorries or similar heavy vehicles.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long driving hours.
- Basic English communication skills for coordination with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Familiarity with Bali’s roads and traffic conditions is a plus.
