Responsibility
- Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently in compliance with local and national traffic laws.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying shipment documents for accuracy.
- Follow designated routes and delivery schedules while maintaining open communication with dispatch and clients.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and defensive driving techniques.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and fuel consumption reports.
- Assist in basic vehicle maintenance, such as checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and brakes.
- Uphold a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid GDL-E License (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience driving heavy goods vehicles (lorries/trucks).
- Strong knowledge of Bali’s roads, traffic regulations, and local delivery routes.
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
- Basic English proficiency for communication with clients and team members.
- Ability to read and interpret maps, GPS systems, and delivery instructions.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting common issues.
