Responsibility
- Coordinate end-to-end shipment processes, from purchase order (PO) issuance to final delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Prepare and verify trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Manage Letters of Credit (L/C) transactions, ensuring all terms and conditions are met for smooth financial settlements.
- Monitor shipment statuses, proactively resolving delays or discrepancies to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking numbers, costs, and delivery confirmations.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and warehouse teams to align logistics activities with business objectives.
- Stay updated on changes in international trade laws, tariffs, and Incoterms to mitigate risks and optimize processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export operations, shipping coordination, or international logistics.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance procedures, and trade compliance.
- Familiarity with Letters of Credit (L/C) and other trade finance instruments.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and logistics software (e.g., ERP, TMS).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail to identify and resolve shipment issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
