As a Shipping Analyst, you will play a key role in resolving audit inquiries related to inventory counts, job orders, and scrap management. Responsibility
- Conduct thorough audits of inventory counts, job orders, and scrap-related documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in shipping records, providing actionable insights to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, and finance teams to streamline logistics processes and improve data accuracy.
- Generate and analyze reports on shipping metrics, inventory turnover, and material usage to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain and update shipping databases, ensuring real-time visibility of stock levels, order statuses, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders to provide supporting documentation and clarify audit findings.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory and shipping workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to shipping accuracy, order fulfillment, and inventory control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shipping, inventory analysis, or logistics coordination, preferably in manufacturing or high-tech industries.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with global teams and auditors.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of audit procedures, ISO standards, or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs documentation is advantageous.
