Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to local and international quality regulations and certifications.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control best practices and procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, non-conformities, and improvement initiatives.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA).
- Proficient in using quality inspection equipment and software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with steel or wire manufacturing processes is a plus.
