Responsibility
- Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery schedules and customer demands.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize excess stock while preventing shortages.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance, capacity utilization, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate lead times and resolve supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, purchasing, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to optimize production workflows.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
