Responsibility
- Monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist process engineers in implementing process improvements and troubleshooting operational issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to prevent downtime and ensure safety.
- Document process parameters, deviations, and corrective actions in compliance with company protocols.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Perform shift handover procedures, ensuring accurate communication of process status and pending tasks.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or process industry, preferably in a shift-based role.
- Strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software (e.g., SCADA, MES) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA) is an advantage.
