Responsibility
- Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they fully participate in classroom activities.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt lesson plans and materials to meet individual student requirements.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing regular feedback to parents, teachers, and school administrators.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and confidence.
- Implement behavioral support strategies to help students develop social skills and emotional resilience.
- Attend team meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on best practices in inclusive education.
- Support students during transitions between activities and locations within the school.
- Foster a strong rapport with students, building trust and encouraging their independence and self-advocacy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the developmental needs of children.
- Familiarity with inclusive education practices and behavioral support techniques.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to embrace the school’s eco-friendly ethos and contribute to sustainability initiatives.
