Responsibility
- Design and deliver engaging Mandarin language lessons tailored to early childhood development stages.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages participation and curiosity.
- Develop and implement interactive learning activities, including songs, games, and storytelling to enhance language acquisition.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing personalized feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teaching teams to integrate Mandarin into broader early education curricula.
- Organize and lead cultural events and celebrations to immerse students in Chinese traditions and customs.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student development in compliance with nursery policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and management to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin (Chinese) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience as a Mandarin Teacher, Early Childhood Educator, or similar role, preferably in an international or bilingual setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Chinese Language, or a related field (TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus).
- Passion for working with young children (ages 2-6) and a patient, empathetic teaching style.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with early childhood education methodologies (e.g., Montessori, Reggio Emilia) is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and commit to a full-time position.
- Legal work authorization in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain a work visa).
