Responsibility
- Lead and manage the service team, ensuring efficient workflow, resource allocation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Develop and implement service strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and inspection of marine and industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing technical support as needed.
- Monitor service performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to meet KPIs and business targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and logistics, to align service delivery with customer needs and business goals.
- Manage service budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization to maximize profitability.
- Stay updated with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in service management, preferably in the marine, industrial, or heavy equipment sectors.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing service teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of marine and industrial machinery, systems, and maintenance protocols.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to handle client interactions and technical challenges.
- Proficiency in service management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with ISO, OHSAS, and other industry-specific standards is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
