Responsibility
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of vacuum pump systems and related equipment at client sites.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce service calls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Prepare detailed service reports and documentation for internal and client records.
- Train end-users and client personnel on proper operation, safety protocols, and basic maintenance of vacuum pump systems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in vacuum pump engineering.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, or repairing industrial vacuum pumps or similar rotating equipment.
- Strong knowledge of vacuum technology, pump mechanics, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and calibration equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards (OSHA, ISO, etc.) and adherence to strict safety protocols.
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally internationally for service assignments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
