As a Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering in-house and on-site technical support, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced medical equipment. Responsibility
- Provide on-site and in-house technical support for medical equipment, including installation, calibration, and testing.
- Diagnose, analyze, and repair product failures using specialized tools and diagnostic software.
- Order and manage replacement parts and components, ensuring timely resolution of equipment downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and minimize service disruptions.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address client concerns and provide technical guidance.
- Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturer updates for assigned equipment.
- Train end-users and healthcare staff on proper equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical equipment servicing, maintenance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of medical device regulations, safety standards (e.g., ISO 13485), and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and use diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions for on-site support.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate service vehicles (if required).
