Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Lead and mentor HSSE teams across multiple sites, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with senior management to integrate HSSE objectives into business strategies and operational plans.
- Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of preventive measures.
- Monitor and report on HSSE performance metrics, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to maintain compliance and promote best practices.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and community engagement programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSSE management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Certification in HSSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HSSE programs in a corporate or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Experience in crisis management and emergency response planning.
