Responsibility
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement using data-driven methodologies.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to implement process enhancements.
- Design and conduct experiments to test and validate process changes.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on process performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices and new processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, AutoCAD, or similar tools).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
