Responsibility
- Lead the validation and testing of PCIe PHY designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Develop and implement comprehensive validation plans, test cases, and methodologies for PCIe PHY solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, firmware, and software engineers, to identify and resolve validation issues.
- Analyze and debug complex hardware and software interactions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Document validation processes, test results, and findings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in PCIe technology to drive innovation.
- Participate in design reviews and provide valuable feedback to enhance product quality and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PCIe PHY validation, with a strong understanding of PCIe protocols and standards.
- Extensive knowledge of validation methodologies, test equipment, and debugging tools.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, or Python for test automation and scripting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex hardware and software interactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with high-speed serial interfaces and signal integrity analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry-standard validation tools and methodologies.
