Responsibility
- Design and develop high-efficiency power conversion systems (e.g., DC-DC converters, inverters, rectifiers) for data center applications.
- Conduct simulation and modeling (e.g., using MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSIM) to validate performance and optimize topologies.
- Lead prototyping and hardware testing of power electronic circuits, including PCB layout and thermal management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power solutions into scalable, commercial-ready systems.
- Research emerging technologies (e.g., GaN, SiC, wide-bandgap semiconductors) to enhance system efficiency and power density.
- Develop control algorithms for digital power management (e.g., DSP, FPGA, or microcontroller-based systems).
- Document technical specifications, test reports, and design guidelines for internal and client stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in renewable energy, energy storage, and grid modernization to inform R&D roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs, Masterâs, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (0â5+ years, depending on level) in power electronics design, simulation, or testing.
- Proficiency in tools such as Altium Designer, LTspice, COMSOL, or ANSYS Maxwell.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, load banks).
- Strong understanding of magnetics design, EMI/EMC compliance, and thermal analysis.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, UL) for power systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Indonesian) are a plus.
