Responsibility
- Design, develop, and test mechanical systems, components, and equipment to meet project specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance analysis to optimize mechanical designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints using CAD software.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, to integrate mechanical systems into broader projects.
- Perform root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems in the field.
- Document technical reports, manuals, and procedures for internal and client reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PE license) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, systems engineering, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science.
- Experience with project management principles and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO) and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
