Responsibility
- Perform installation, calibration, and maintenance of Shimadzu laboratory instruments (e.g., chromatographs, spectrometers, balances) at client sites in Bali.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues through on-site or remote troubleshooting, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
- Provide IT support for instrument software, connectivity, and data management systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, training end-users, and offering proactive solutions.
- Promote and sell service contracts, upgrades, and spare parts to existing and potential clients.
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in laboratory instrumentation and participate in continuous training programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in servicing, maintaining, or repairing laboratory/analytical instruments (preferably Shimadzu or similar brands).
- Strong technical knowledge of HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, or other analytical techniques is a plus.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel within Bali as required.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, GLP, or GMP is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
