Responsibility
- Design, analyze, and optimize electrical power systems, including substations, switchgear, and distribution networks.
- Develop technical specifications, schematics, and single-line diagrams for high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
- Conduct load flow studies, short-circuit analysis, and arc flash hazard assessments using industry-standard software (e.g., ETAP, SKM).
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with local and international standards (IEC, IEEE, SNI).
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
- Perform site inspections and troubleshoot electrical system issues to minimize downtime and enhance performance.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in renewable energy integration, smart grids, and energy storage systems.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power systems design, preferably in the energy or utility sector.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proficient in ETAP, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar tools for electrical system modeling and design.
- Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and local electrical codes (e.g., PLN standards for Indonesia).
- Experience with renewable energy projects (solar, wind, or hydro) is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
