Responsibility
- Develop and optimize manufacturing sequences and routing to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive quotes for potential projects and clients
- Conduct thorough follow-ups on inquiries to convert quotes into successful orders
- Collaborate with production teams to implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions
- Work closely with sales and procurement teams to ensure pricing aligns with market demands
- Maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, cost structures, and project timelines
- Monitor industry trends and competitor pricing to maintain our competitive edge
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in costing, manufacturing engineering, or production planning
- Proven track record in developing accurate cost estimates and manufacturing routings
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in cost analysis and process optimization
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment with strong time management
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with Indonesian manufacturing standards and regulations is a plus
