Responsibility
- Develop and optimize CAM programs for CNC machining processes to enhance efficiency and precision.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of CAM processes.
- Conduct simulations and validate CAM programs to identify and resolve potential issues before production.
- Maintain and update CAM software tools and libraries to align with industry standards and project requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on CAM software and best practices.
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Generate detailed documentation for CAM processes, including setup sheets, tool lists, and operation instructions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CAM technology and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a CAM Engineer or similar role, with expertise in CAM software such as Mastercam, NX CAM, or SolidCAM.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and automation in manufacturing is advantageous.
