If you are passionate about precision engineering, thrive in collaborative settings, and have a proven track record in PCB design, we invite you to apply and help shape the future of hardware technology.
Responsibility
- Design and develop complex multi-layer PCBs using Cadence Allegro, ensuring compliance with industry standards (IPC, UL, CE, etc.).
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and firmware teams to integrate hardware requirements into PCB layouts.
- Perform signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis to optimize high-speed digital and analog circuits.
- Generate and review schematics, BOMs, and fabrication/assembly drawings for accuracy and manufacturability.
- Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews to minimize production costs and defects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EMI/EMC, thermal, and reliability issues in PCB designs.
- Stay updated with emerging PCB design trends, materials, and technologies to enhance product performance.
- Support prototype testing, validation, and iteration based on feedback from engineering and QA teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in PCB design using Cadence Allegro (experience with OrCAD or Altium is a bonus).
- Strong knowledge of high-speed digital design, impedance control, and layer stack-up optimization.
- Proficiency in signal integrity tools (e.g., HyperLynx, SIwave) and 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks).
- Experience with power distribution networks (PDN), EMC/EMI mitigation, and thermal management in PCB layouts.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes (SMT, through-hole, flex/rigid-flex) and IPC-2221/2222 standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in schematic capture and layout validation.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-engineering stakeholders.
