Responsibility
- Provide on-site technical support and repair services for mechanical seals, coupling, and filtration systems.
- Perform diagnostics and root cause analysis (RCA) on failed equipment to improve reliability and performance.
- Conduct equipment installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance activities according to manufacturer standards.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients regarding service reports, technical recommendations, and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to identify design improvements and product optimizations.
- Manage spare parts inventory and service tools in accordance with site safety protocols.
- Deliver technical training and guidance to client maintenance teams as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field service, preferably within the oil & gas or chemical processing sectors.
- Deep understanding of rotating equipment, seal technology, and pump operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in remote or industrial environments.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
- Strong communication skills in both English and local language (Malay).
- Commitment to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) excellence and site safety regulations.
