Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service with a warm, professional demeanor in a high-volume dining setting.
- Take and accurately relay customer orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions (Halal compliance) are met.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to presentation and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area, including table setup, bussing, and sanitization.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order fulfillment and minimize wait times.
- Handle cash and digital payments with precision, providing receipts and change as needed.
- Educate guests on menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and Halal certification details.
- Assist in opening/closing duties, including inventory checks and restocking supplies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (F&B, hospitality, or customer service preferred).
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive, team-first attitude.
- Knowledge of Halal food handling and hygiene practices is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/carry trays (up to 10 kg).
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling.
- Passion for delivering memorable dining experiences and building customer loyalty.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
