Responsibility
- Provide warm, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service to guests in accordance with INITIAâs high standards of hospitality.
- Greet guests with a welcoming attitude, take orders accurately, and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment, including setting tables, clearing dishes, and restocking service stations.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service and adherence to menu specifications.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, and specials to enhance guest experience and drive revenue.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food, utensils, and equipment.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and team briefings to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and service protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality is a plus but not requiredâwe welcome enthusiastic beginners!
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Russian) are highly advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the role.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling is a bonus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move items up to 10kg.
- Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Indonesia (for foreign applicants).
