Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm and welcoming first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relaying them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve meals and drinks with attention to detail, ensuring presentation and temperature meet standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and requests professionally, providing information about menu items and promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces for catering functions.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions with integrity.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in food presentation and cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
