Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the service centre, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to meet KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage customs clearance processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation for imports/exports.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules, optimizing routes and resource allocation.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper handling of goods in transit or storage.
- Resolve escalated customer or operational issues with a focus on satisfaction and retention.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimize errors.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or customs clearance, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and drive performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, HSE (Health, Safety, Environment), and quality management systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, as required by operational needs.
