Responsibility
- Deliver and collect documents and packages in a timely and secure manner.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries to ensure punctuality.
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and collections, including recipient signatures.
- Handle sensitive and confidential documents with the utmost care and discretion.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery statuses and any potential delays.
- Ensure all delivered items are in good condition and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety and compliance.
- Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks to ensure reliability and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a messenger, courier, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Familiarity with the local area and efficient route planning.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and carrying packages.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
