Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms and ensure cost efficiency.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of purchase orders.
- Oversee shipping documentation, customs clearance, and logistics coordination to guarantee smooth and compliant import/export operations.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement stock control measures to prevent shortages or excesses, optimizing working capital.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, and production) to align procurement strategies with business objectives and project timelines.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate pricing trends, and recommend cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, such as delivery delays or quality discrepancies, with a solutions-oriented approach to minimize operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing, energy, or logistics sectors.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions to support business goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or German is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software to streamline workflows and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to address challenges and implement process improvements.
