Responsibility
- Lead RFQ processes, including supplier identification, quotation collection, and comparative analysis to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project requirements and budget constraints.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost metrics, and implement improvement initiatives as needed.
- Prepare and present sourcing recommendations to senior management with data-driven insights and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Monitor global supply chain trends and proactively adjust sourcing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record in RFQ management, cost analysis, and supplier negotiations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a results-driven and detail-oriented approach.
