Responsibility

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing professional and courteous service throughout their vehicle’s maintenance or repair process.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately diagnose customer concerns to provide transparent and detailed service recommendations.
  • Prepare precise cost estimates and obtain customer approval for all repairs and services, ensuring full transparency and trust.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of all service work, while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicles, including updates on progress, delays, or additional repairs needed.
  • Process service orders, invoices, and payments accurately, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with company policies.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and foster long-term relationships.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, service procedures, and product offerings to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Upsell additional services and maintenance packages where appropriate, contributing to the dealership’s revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor, Automotive Service Consultant, or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance procedures, and repair processes, with a preference for experience with Proton vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient in using automotive service software, dealership management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Certification in automotive service or customer service (e.g., ASE, Proton training) is highly desirable.
