Responsibility
- Coordinate and expedite the delivery of automotive parts to meet service and sales demands.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to prevent shortages.
- Process purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Assist technicians and service advisors in locating and retrieving parts efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding part availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor backorders and follow up with suppliers to resolve delays.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to organize and maintain parts storage areas.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, part movements, and supplier performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive or logistics training is a plus.
- Proven experience in parts expediting, inventory management, or automotive services.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and terminology is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move parts weighing up to 20 kg.
