Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service with a warm, professional, and attentive approach.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are communicated to the kitchen.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing recommendations.
- Set up and maintain clean, organized dining areas, including tables, linens, and tableware.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and timely order delivery.
- Handle payments and billing efficiently using POS systems while maintaining accuracy.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety in compliance with restaurant policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant (preferred but not required).
- Fluent in English (additional Japanese or Indonesian language skills are a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine and dining etiquette (training provided).
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Neat, professional appearance with adherence to grooming and uniform standards.
