Responsibility
- Assist chefs with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Support cooking processes by operating kitchen equipment and following recipes accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Help with basic dishwashing and kitchen utensil cleaning as needed.
- Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation.
- Assist in setting up workstations and ensuring all necessary ingredients are available.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
