Responsibility
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
- Take and process orders accurately, including special requests, dietary restrictions, and upselling premium menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the lounge’s menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings, to provide informed recommendations.
- Set up, maintain, and break down service stations, ensuring all areas are clean, well-stocked, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service-related issues promptly and discreetly.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with a positive attitude, escalating matters to management when necessary to ensure resolution.
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards, including cash handling, inventory management, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a food and beverage service role, preferably in a lounge, bar, or high-end hospitality setting.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Russian) are a plus.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Certification in food safety or hospitality (e.g., Hygiene Pass, TIKI) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move items up to 10 kg.
- Passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
