As a Workday expert, you will drive the functional design, implementation, and optimization of Workday Integrations and Security frameworks, ensuring seamless data flow, robust access controls, and compliance with global standards. Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain Workday Integrations (EIB, Studio, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs) to connect HCM with third-party systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, time tracking).
- Lead Workday Security configuration, including role-based access control (RBAC), business process security, and segmentation models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and security-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Stay current with Workday updates and best practices, recommending enhancements to improve system performance and user experience.
- Document integration workflows, security policies, and technical specifications for compliance and knowledge sharing.
- Mentor junior team members and provide training on Workday best practices for integrations and security.
- Ensure adherence to GDPR, SOC2, and other global data protection standards within Workday configurations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Workday Functional Consultant or Engineer, with a focus on Integrations (EIB, Studio, APIs) and Security.
- Proven expertise in Workday HCM Core (e.g., Employee Lifecycle, Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management).
- Strong understanding of Workday Security models, including domain security, field-level security, and business process permissions.
- Experience with integration tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Workday Integration Cloud) is a plus.
- Certification in Workday Integration or Security (e.g., Workday Integration Pro, Workday Security Administrator) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ITIL processes.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise with global stakeholders.
