Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of interactive data visualizations for digital health platforms, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to define visualization requirements and user flows.
- Develop and optimize front-end components using modern frameworks (e.g., D3.js, React, or WebGL) to render high-performance, scalable visualizations.
- Design user-centric dashboards and reports that simplify complex medical data for clinicians, patients, and stakeholders.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback to enhance user engagement and adoption.
- Ensure visualizations meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and are compatible across devices and browsers.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in data visualization, AI-driven analytics, and digital health to drive innovation.
- Document technical specifications, design guidelines, and best practices for the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data visualization, front-end development, or UX/UI design, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, D3.js, React, or similar frameworks for building interactive visualizations.
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex data visualization projects with a focus on clarity, aesthetics, and usability.
- Experience with data processing tools (e.g., Python, SQL) and APIs to integrate and transform raw data into visual formats.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
