Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end business valuation projects, including financial analysis, modeling, and report preparation for clients across various industries.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess the fair market value of businesses, assets, and intellectual property.
- Conduct in-depth market research, industry analysis, and benchmarking to support valuation conclusions.
- Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and financial advisors to gather necessary data and clarify valuation objectives.
- Prepare and present detailed valuation reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with international valuation standards (e.g., IVS, USPAP).
- Stay updated on economic trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to enhance valuation methodologies.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on technical valuation techniques and best practices.
- Participate in client meetings, pitches, and negotiations to build long-term relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CVA, ASA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business valuation, financial advisory, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading valuation engagements.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, DCF analysis, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
- In-depth knowledge of valuation standards (IVS, USPAP) and accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a high attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and valuation software (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
