Responsibility
- Process and manage airline ticket issuance, modifications, and cancellations using Sabre GDS or similar systems.
- Coordinate with travel partners, airlines, and hotels to secure the best rates and availability for clients.
- Provide expert advice on travel itineraries, visa requirements, and destination-specific guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy in ticketing documentation, including e-tickets, invoices, and travel vouchers.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, maintaining a high standard of service.
- Monitor industry trends, fare changes, and promotional offers to optimize travel solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop competitive travel packages.
- Maintain meticulous records of transactions, client interactions, and financial reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in airline ticketing, travel agencies, or tourism-related roles.
- Proficiency in Sabre System or other Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of IATA regulations, fare rules, and ticketing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and a customer-first approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
