Responsibility
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair precision metal stamping tools and dies to exact specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production tooling to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize tool designs for efficiency and durability.
- Conduct quality inspections and precision measurements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications for traceability and continuous improvement.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices in tool maintenance and safety protocols.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of tooling equipment.
- Stay updated on advancements in metal stamping technology and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tool Maker in metal stamping or precision engineering.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, including milling, grinding, and CNC operations.
- Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex tooling issues under minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
