Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in delivering evidence-based therapy programs tailored to patient needs.
- Conduct patient screenings and preliminary assessments under supervision.
- Implement individualized treatment plans, including physical, occupational, or speech therapy interventions.
- Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and home care strategies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, nurses, social workers) to optimize patient care.
- Provide emotional support and motivation to patients throughout their recovery journey.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Therapy Assistant in a clinical or public healthcare setting.
- Certification or registration with a recognized healthcare or therapy board (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, patient care protocols, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to ethical healthcare practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
