Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Provide support and encouragement to patients during therapy sessions, fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and feedback.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and techniques for home care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of group therapy sessions and wellness programs.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Therapy Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques and equipment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
